Since 1978, parents have discovered that a student does not have to be “lost” or “bored” in school.  The diagnostic tests we send play an important part in achieving success for a student.  The diagnostic tests are used to determine what a student’s level of learning actually is rather than what has been experienced in the “lock-step” method used in most schools where all students do the same subject, same page, and at the same time whether the student understands what is being taught or not.  Students thrive once they are placed at their level of learning.  Many students  have been labeled as slow learners, but are not.  They simply missed some things along the way that had a cumulative effect leading to the “I must be dumb!” attitude.  When placed at the proper level, students usually thrive because they are now succeeding in school and are neither dragged forward or held back by other students.  We continually hear statements like “My son was depressed.  He was just dumb!  Everyone was smarter than him!  He hated school.  What a difference we see in him now!  He has found out he isn’t dumb and not only can learn but do well in school!  We have a different son now.  Thank you!  Thank you!” Our goal is to help one student at a time to succeed in school and feel better about himself/herself at the same time.
